General

Your plant can grow up to 3 meters in height over the ground.

Satin Pothos is a species of flowering plant of the arum family Araceae and is a fast-growing plant.

It is a native plant of Bangladesh, India, Thailand, Java, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and the Philippines.

Sunlight

Your Silver Satin Pothos likes bright, indirect light all the year. So make sure that your plant is placed in an area with bright indirect sunlight.

Direct sunlight will burn the leaves of your plant, meanwhile, too little sunlight will make the leaves succumb to their variegation property.

Pathos can not tolerate a temperature below 50℉. So during the winters, you must protect them from frost and freezing as well.

Watering

Water your Satin Pothos when the top 3-4 inches of soil is dry to touch. Your plant can tolerate underwatering, but overwatering can rot its roots and thus, should be avoided.

Your Pothos prefers a humid condition and hence, you must mist the plant twice a day to maintain the humid condition.

Soil

They grow well in well-drained soil that will support your plant's growth. Rich and fast-draining soil with a pH of 6-6.5 is considered to be the best option for your Schefflera Plant.

Fertilizer

Your Pathos requires a balanced amount of nutrients to grow faster. You can use a water-soluble balanced fertilizer in 10:10:10 or 20:20:20 monthly during its growing season.

However, you must withhold the use of fertilizers during the autumn and winter season.

Toxicity

Satin Pothos is toxic if ingested by humans or pets. It can lead to skin irritation, difficulty swallowing, and vomiting conditions.

Additional Care

If you place your Pathos in a place that does not receive enough light, the foliage of your plant can lose its defining silvery markings. Hence, keep the plant in an area that receives bright indirect sunlight.

Your Pothos Plant will require regular pruning during their growing season to make them bushy or their stems will keep trailing and will become thinner giving them a non-sculpted look.
