Yucca Gloriosa -Plant

Yucca gloriosa is a flowering plant that is endemic to the southeastern United States and belongs to the Asparagaceae family. It is an evergreen shrub that grows to a height of 2.5 metres. It has become established in warmer regions in the wild in numerous parts of the world and is frequently planted as an ornamental plant for its architectural features.

General

Spanish Dagger is the scientific name for the plant.

The plant can withstand heat, humidity, drought, and salt, as well as some cold and snow.

The huge panicles of white bell-shaped blooms, which bloom from late spring to mid-summer, are a show-stopper.

Pruning and grooming are not required. Cut or pluck leaves off after they die. Cut the flower stalk all the way down after the blossoms fade.
