Money Plant N Joy, otherwise known as marble prince is amongst the easiest indoor houseplant to grow. The heart shaped leaves are large, glossy and variegated with unique white patches. It's ability to tolerate neglect for long periods of time makes it the perfect and easiest choice for frequent travellers and inexperienced plant enthusiasts. Money Plant is one of the best air purifying plants that helps improve the air quality by cleaning out toxins like formaldehyde and benzene fumes

General

The money plant will look great from a hanging basket. They can also grow along a moss stick.

It can grow up to a height of 2 - 3 meters.

Sunlight

Your Money Plant N'Joy does well in medium to bright indirect sunlight, and can grow under fluorescent lights as well.

If exposed to bright, indirect sunlight, your Marble Prince plant will have more yellow variegation in its leaves. Low sunlight will cause it to lose its variegation. Keep away from direct sunlight as it may burn the leaves.

Watering

Your Money Plant N Joy is highly drought tolerant. Therefore, let the top two inches of soil dry out before watering. This will be approximately once a week in summer & twice a week in winter.

Your Marble Prince loves humidity . So consider misting it once a week, or more if the environment is very dry.

Soil

Atropurpureum Plants require a well-draining, but fertile soil for proper growth. You can use sandy or alkaline soil for placing your plant.

You can consider adding coarse sand, and moss, or peat in the soil for good drainage. Make sure that the pot you are using for your plant must have a hole in it for good drainage.

Fertilizer

Your Money Plant N Joy does not require any fertilizers and can thrive in your home for months.

When fertilizing, feed your Marble Prince with a 20-20-20 mix during the growing season. This will produce a vigorous growth. Avoid fertilizing during winter.

Toxicity

Your Money Plant N Joy is mildly toxic and not suitable for spaces with pets and children.

Troubleshooting

Blackened leaves or stems or leaf spots - Indicates overwatering - Ensure the soil is only moist and not soaked

Leaves on the bottom turning yellow - Could be due to overwatering or underwatering - As a pothos plant ages, the oldest leaves eventually yellow and die off. So it could just be the natural progression of your plant. Also your Money Plant N Joy may have a nutrient deficiency, so try adding a half strength liquid fertilizer in with your next watering

Leaves shriveled, yellow & brown edges - Indicates plant is underwatered - Cut the affected leaves at the base of their stems, as this will ensure new growth and increase the frequency of watering.
