Caladium Lindenii can grow up to 2 - 3 feet in length and width.
These tuberous plants produce foliage from spring to autumn.
Your plant grows best in medium indirect sunlight.
Keeping your Caladium Lindenii at a temperature above 21℃ will help grow it's tubers.
It is crucial for your Caladium Lindenii to have its soil moist at all times. Regularly water around 2 times a week, to ensure the soil is evenly moist.
You can stop watering during the dormant season. And resume watering in the next season when it's time for the foliage to start growing back.
Your plant loves a highly humid environment. So you can increase humidity by misting it often, placing it near a humidifier, or using a pebble tray.
An organic, slightly acidic, well-draining potting mix will suit your plant.
Fertilize your plant weekly with a diluted liquid fertilizer during the growing season. Do not fertilise your plant in winters or after it goes dormant.
Caladium Lindenii is toxic if ingested and not suitable for spaces with pets and children.
During it's dormancy, Caladiums will have a reduction in it's foliage. During this phase, you can preserve the tubers and replant them in the following year. Either you let the tubers dry, and then store them in peat in a breathable bag. Or you could just leave them in the soil and stop watering completely.
Caladiums will absolutely not tolerate frost.
Regularly remove damaged leaves by cutting them off at the base.
Leggy growth - Usually suggests that your plant isn't getting enough light.
The Caladium Lindenii is a rare seasonal tuberous plant that goes dormant in autumn or winter. This is an attractive tropical perennial and has a stand-out silvery white ribbing across it's thin, large arrowhead-shaped green leaves.
